Sky brightness contribution from the satellites using the constellations from Table 1. The results are computed at astronomical twilight for latitudes +50° (a) and −25° (b). Typical sky surface brightness in the visible is 21.7 mag arcsec−2 or brighter. The satellites used all have v1000 km = 7, resulting in visual magnitudes in the range indicated at the bottom right corner.
