Venus trajectory during the VGAM-1 closest approach as seen from the EPD FOVs in the spacecraft reference frame. The colored band represents the Venus angular size with the fraction of the disc illuminated as seen from the spacecraft. Yellow crosses along the trajectory mark one-hour time intervals. During the maneuver, the spacecraft was rolled 130° in order to blind the star-tracker from Venus.
