Testing the precision of the Sánchez-Salcedo formula for dynamical friction in MOND (Eq. (4)). Blue lines: Evolution of the GC-galaxy distances in N-body simulations. Orange lines: The same but calculated analytically employing the Sánchez-Salcedo formula. Each panel corresponds to another mass of the GC under consideration. The GCs in all simulations or calculations started with the same initial conditions, that is, starting from rest with respect to the galaxy and at a distance of 5 kpc from the galaxy center. To the right of each figure, the corresponding mass of the GC and the value of the Coulomb logarithm that is needed to be entered in the Sánchez-Salcedo formula to mimic the result of the simulation are stated.
