Predictions of the 12CO disk emission of a VSI-unstable disk for different velocity channels. From left to right, the columns correspond to predictions for disk inclinations i = 5, 20 and 35 degrees. Thechannel widths are 0.05 km s−1. The images are convolved with a circular Gaussian beam of 50 mas, shown in the bottom-left corner of each panel. The disk emission shows a corrugated pattern. Only red-shifted channels are shown, as the structures are quasi axisymmetric, therefore, the symmetric blue-shifted channels show similar substructures.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
