Mass fractions of selected isotopes within the expanding envelope at various stages of the explosion using our newly recommended 18F(p, α) reaction rate, Set IX. The horizontal axes correspond to a relative mass coordinate where the origin is set at the surface of the envelope and where the arrows show the limit of the ejected material. The different panels correspond to temperatures at the base of the accreted envelope of approximately 5 × 107 (panel 1), 7 × 107 (panel 2), 1 × 108 (panel 3), 2 × 108 (panel 4), and Tmax = 2.4 × 108 K (panel 5) and to the last phases of the evolution, when the nova envelope has already expanded to a size of Rwd ∼ 109 (panel 6), 1010 (panel 7), and 1012 cm (panel 8). We plot our results in a manner almost identical to Fig. 2 in Coc et al. (2000) to facilitate comparison.
