Effective ion speed estimates from the slope of the ion current, dI/dVb, from Langmuir probe sweeps (median of 19 h bins plotted in red) and from dI/dn using three hour-long ∼60 Hz ion current cross-calibration windows (blue). Both methods are using coinciding plasma density estimates from MIP.
