Central ±10° × ± 10° around the Galactic center. BGCs (i.e., with RGC ≤ 3.5 kpc) are identified (generally with their NGC number) in blue and red, while other GCs with RGC > 3.5 kpc are labeled in black. Gray circles show the locations of the SDSS-IV APOGEE-2S survey fields, while CAPOS fields are shown in red, with the dashed circles illustrating the CAPOS fields presented here. All CAPOS clusters are BGCs except for M22, which was observed simultaneously with the BGC NGC 6642. A final CAPOS BGC, NGC 6717, is off the plot at (12.9° , − 10.9°).
