The models have been smoothed with a Gaussian kernel (FWHM of 23.5 Å). In all cases, the electron-density enhancement is characterized by Vblob = 4000 km s−1, δVblob = 1000 km s−1, and Ne,fac = 20. The radial blob optical depth is 0.44.
