Calibration source stowed within a cylindrical lead box attached to each collimator of each telescope module (a). The lead box ensures no flux from the calibration source is measurable during astrophysical observations. The calibration source can be inserted into the collimator, as shown in the right panel b, where it illuminates its detector.
