Magnetic field profile of a magnetic switchback event in RTN coordinates during the first PSP encounter. A switchback comprises a magnetic spike that is separated from the pristine solar wind by a transition region. The radial component of the magnetic field reverses inside the transition region. The interval is 120 s in duration.
