Squares are globular clusters from Harris (2010), with distance relative uncertainty of 5%, and proper motions from Vasiliev (2019). Diamonds are dwarf galaxies: at the top, from left to right: Sgr, Boo I, Sextans, Carina, and Fornax; at the bottom, Ursa Minor, Draco, and Sculptor. Distances are from van den Bergh (2000) and proper motions from Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration 2018). Errors for dwarf galaxies are comparable to the diamond size.
