Corrected flux excess factor vs. G_BP − G_RP colour for a selection of variable and extended sources collated from catalogues available in the literature and cross-matched with the Gaia EDR3 catalogue. The following types are shown: GALAXY, QSO, RRLyrae (including all subtypes), Ecl (Eclipsing variables), LP (Long Period variables) or SR (Semi-Regular variables), and PNe (Planetary Nebulae).
