Faraday depth spectrum, or Faraday dispersion function (FDF), for a radio galaxy in both the DR1 and DR2 datasets, showing the improvement in the suppression of the instrumental polarization signal. The dashed blue line shows the FDF from the DR1 data with a strong instrumental polarization feature near Faraday depths of ϕ ~ 0 rad m−2, while the solid orange line shows the FDF from the DR2 data in which the instrumental feature is suppressed below the noise level. In both cases, the Faraday depth of the real astrophysical signal is the same.
