The yellow point shows the (0,0) position of the Sun, and the arrows show the velocity of the Hyades in the X − Y plane and the direction to the GC. The black Gaia data points are highlighted with the grey model to guide the eye. This suggests an overdensity to the eye. Right panel: classical CP method plot.
