Local correlation between stellar halo intrinsic shape and fraction of accreted stars in stellar mass bins. Each galaxy is represented by about six data points, measured in ellipsoidal shell with semi-major axis r ∈ [3.5−8Re]. The correlations are clear for galaxies more massive than M* > 1010.6 M⊙. Low fexsitu is consistent with near-oblate shapes with low axis ratio q. At higher fexsitu the stellar halo triaxiality parameter increases while the q(fexsitu) correlation reaches a maximum of q ∼ 0.6 for fexsitu ∼ 0.7, beyond which the q decreases.
