KiDS-1000 B-mode null-test: the COSEBIs Bn modes are shown for each tomographic bin combination (denoted in the upper left corner of each panel). The measured B-modes are consistent with random noise, as determined through the p-values shown in the upper right corner of each panel. Considering the full data vector of n = 20 modes and 15 different tomographic bin combinations, we find p = 0.38 corresponding to an insignificant 0.3σ deviation from a null signal. We caution the reader against ‘chi-by-eye’ as the Bn modes are highly correlated.
