Hertzsprung-Russel diagram (HRD) of a local sample of stars with large tangential motions (vtan > 200 km s−1) and very high-quality parallaxes (parallax_over_error > 50). Overlayed is an 11 Gyr age and [M/H] = −0.5 metallicity isochrone (red). This isochrone is shifted to the left by 0.01 mag in G − GRP to split the two sequences that are shown. The inset shows the two sequences without the red line overplotted to make the gap between them appreciable.
