Same as Fig. B.1, now for Δσ⋆ against metallicity [M/H]. In the cases of the discs and nuclei of the whole sample we find not enough bins to discern a clear trend. The rings in NGC 1097 and NGC 5248 span a wide range of values of the metallicity, but they present a vertical distribution of the mean values of Δσ⋆, indicating the absence of a trend.
