Solar Orbiter spacecraft, front (sun-facing) view. Except for the SoloHI heliospheric imager, which is looking over the right edge of the heat shield, the remote-sensing instruments are mounted internally and view the Sun through feed-throughs in the heat shield. Most of these openings have sliding doors for additional protection. The solar arrays can be tilted around their longitudinal (yoke) axis for temperature control. The three RPW antennae are pointing radially outwards, and the high-gain antenna can be seen below the spacecraft body.
