Two HV isolation gaps between the seven central CEMs and one + three lateral CEMs allow their independent operation. Hybrid charge sensitive pre-amplifiers-discriminators are placed on both the top and the bottom sides of the PCB near the lower voltage side of the channeltrons. Two temperature sensors are glued left and right of the channeltron set to monitor the temperatures of the CEM board.
