The figure shows the relative positions of the planets as well as the Sun, SOHO, Solar Orbiter, PSP and STEREO-A. The fields of view of a subset of the instruments onboard these missions is also shown (SOHO: C2/C3, STEREO: COR-1 and COR-2, Solar Orbiter: Metis). In addition the 3D structure typically used to fit a flux rope and a shock in 3D are also shown.
