Comparison of the aerosol extinction coefficient at 1090 cm−1 derived from CIRS observations in 2015 and 2016 (left column) with those inferred from Cassini ISS Narrow Angle camera at 338 nm (right column) (Seignovert et al. 2020). Extinction is given in cm−1 and a factor 1.22 × 10−3 was applied to the extinction coefficient of Seignovert et al. (2020) in order to take into account the aerosol extinction spectral dependence between 338 nm and 1090 cm−1 (Vinatier et al. 2012).
