Haze extinction coefficient (given in cm⁻¹ and representative of 1090 cm⁻¹) meridional cross sections from March 2015 to September 2017. Extinction coefficient is derived from the fit of the 595–660 cm⁻¹ spectral range and scaled to 1090 cm⁻¹ using the spectral dependence derived by Vinatier et al. (2012). Regions without information are represented in white; they correspond to missing data or pressure levels not probed by nadir observations.
