Otherwise, the ephemeris of EW Sct and V1496 Aql are retrieved from AAVSO and Berdnikov et al. (2004), respectively. The number of UVES epoch of observations is indicated in the last column. The Cepheids that we consider as prototypes in the following of the paper are indicated in bold.
