Gas accretion rate as a function of disc mass for a stellar cluster where the scatter in initial dust-to-gas ratio matches that of the scatter in metallicites in the solar neighbourhood and nearby star-forming regions. Comparing this to when the initial dust to gas ratio is constant, which is shown in grey, (see also Fig. 5) we can see that the two appear very similar.
