Light curve over 5 months (from August 1, 2013 to January 7, 2014) of a SN from the CDF-S3 variable sources sample. We cut the light curve to five months instead of 23 for a better visualization of the peak. The SN peaks at day ∼20; then it fades, and the only relevant contribution to the luminosity comes from the host galaxy. Error bars refer to the rms of the variability threshold at the average magnitude of the source.
