Notes. The UV line ratios have been measured using the SDSS BOSS spectra. [OIII]/Hβ taken from Perrotta et al. (2019) and our GTC-EMIR data on J1744+4148. For comparison, UV line ratios for three composite spectra of powerful AGN are also shown: the high-z narrow-line radio galaxy composite (z ∼ 2.5) from Vernet et al. (2001) and the radio-quiet and radio-loud QSO1 composites at 0.3 < z < 3.6 from Telfer et al. (2002). The median line ratios of SDSS-III BOSS QSO2 at z > 2 are also shown (Group 1, CIV/HeII < 4 and Group 2, CIV/HeII > 4, Silva et al. 2020). The bottom lines show the median values of the line ratios measured by Batra & Baldwin (2014) in 41 N-loud quasars. Everywhere, the lines are NVλ1240, HeIIλ1640, CIVλ1550, CIII]λ1909, CIIλ1335, NIV]λ1486, NIII]λ1750, (SiIV+OIV])λ1400 and [OIII]λ5007. N/A means that the values are not available.
