The bright source at about 0.3 arcsec south-east from the center, identified with B, is the M-star companion detected by Mesa et al. (2019), which appears elongated as a consequence of the differential imaging adopted. Solid and dashed lines refer to the median PA and aperture of the “elongated structure” as measured in Sect. 3.2, respectively.
