Constraints on companion mass and semi-major axis for AX Mic. HCI adds significant information (up to 99% more companions that can be detected even for the maximum age), concentrated at companion masses of 8–14 MJup and semi-major axes of 15–25 AU. The detectable companions also increase by up to 65% at semi-major axes larger than the NaCo field of view for all ages. The RV data on this star are the least constraining in the sample due to the short time baseline (742 days) and small number of measurements (eight nights).
