PSF-subtracted images for each star, where the PSF was subtracted using classical angular differential imaging (ADI). These images were used to search for companions from 2′′ out to 6.5′′ (the maximum separation allowed by the NaCo field of view and the dithering observing strategy). The white circle indicates the extent of the PCA images shown in Fig. 1 (2′′ radius). The white bar in the lower left of each image corresponds to 5 AU at the distance of the star. The images are plotted with a linear stretch.
