Table 2
Viscoelastic parameters used to compute the tidal response.
ηref (Pa s) | ηmin − ηmax | μ (GPa), K (GPa) | |
---|---|---|---|
Ice | |||
P< 2.2 GPa: | 1015 | 1014–1016 | μ = 3.3, K = 10 |
P> 2.2 GPa: | 1017 | 1016–1018 | ![]() |
Silicate | |||
P< 25 GPa: | 5 × 1020 | 5 × 1019–5 × 1021 | ![]() |
P> 25 GPa: | 5 × 1022 | 5 × 1021–5 × 1023 | ![]() |
P> 130 GPa: | 5 × 1025 | 5 × 1022–5 × 1026 | ![]() |
Notes. Apart from the low-pressure ice mantle (P < 2.2 GPa), where the shear and bulk moduli (μ, K) are assumed constant, the elastic parameters are derived from the density profiles computed using the method presented in Sect. 2and the viscosity, η is assumed constant in each layer and has a prescribed value comprised between ηmin and ηmax.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
