Simulation in 300 ks of the nickel K edge, using the XIFU calorimeter, assuming that a highly absorbed source near the GC reaches in outburst the same flux level as GX340+00 (F2−10 keV ~ 1.3 × 10−8 erg cm−2 s−1). The dust depletion is 100%. The data have been binned for clarity.
