Details of the evolution of two PMJs that occurred in close proximity after one another. Maximum brightness of PMJ G (t = 0) occurred 99 s before the maximum brightness of PMJ H. In the image at t = 38 of PMJ G, PMJ H can be seen to the left. This is 61 s before the maximum brightness of PMJ H (time t = −61). PMJ H is a brighter and longer-lived PMJ than PMJ G (in addition to being longer). Both PMJs appear to be splitting during the later phases of their evolution.
