Left panel: histogram of the number of observing hours for each station as a function of the solar longitude accumulated from seven years of observations (2010–2016). Right panel: number of meteors detected from each station for the same time window. The use of the rotating shutter in one of the stations reduces the effective exposure time and results in a lower number of observed meteors. The binsize for both histograms is 1°.
