Supermassive black hole mass–effective velocity dispersion relation based on the compilation of Saglia et al. (2016). The color scheme indicates the morphological type of the galaxies: elliptical (red), lenticular (green), and spiral (blue). To visualize the general trend we added the global scaling relations by Saglia et al. (2016) and McConnell & Ma (2013) for all galaxy types (solid and dash-dotted line) as well as Savorgnan & Graham (2015) for fast-rotator galaxies (dash-dashed line). Our measurements (highlighted as stars) lie very well on the two scaling relations.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
