Comparison of the KK04 metallicity from our work, compared to the overlapping results from Moustakas et al. (2010). Both gradients use the same calibration and the same normalisation of radii by the r25, though different data points and different methods were used to derive the gradients. Most of the sample compares well (green), though NGC 3621 is a strong outlier (cyan).
