Screenshot of a simple application built using CIGALE as a library. It is designed to interactively explore the effect of dust attenuation on the FUV-to-far-IR spectrum of a star-forming galaxy. Here the key parameters for the attenuation can easily be changed with sliders, allowing for a rapid examination of the impact of each parameter. The script is approximately only 150 lines long. It transparently uses CIGALE modules to build the SED from user-provided parameters and matplotlib to display the plot and handle the sliders.
