Multiepoch spectra for models a4he compared with the observed spectra of SN 2009mw Takáts et al. (2016). The line profile and color evolutions depart from expectations for a Type II-pec SN: lines are narrower early on; there is no sign of Ca II 7300 Å nor O I 7774 Å; the optical colors are bluer for longer. These features are unlikely to be exclusively a metallicity effect. Some of these features are seen in iPTF14hls (Arcavi et al. 2017).
