Unreddened (BPRP), MG colour-absolute magnitudes for the BLAPs, as identified by Pietrukowicz et al. (2017), are shown as red points, and the dereddened colour-absolute magnitudes are shown in black where the errors reflect the uncertainty on the distance and (BPRP) colour, with an additional 20 percent uncertainty on the extinction. The background shows the density of stars in the (BPRP), MG plane of stars within 150 pc, which are assumed not to be significantly affected by reddening.
