Gas surface density Σ (top panel) and pebble surface density Σp (bottom panel) close to the end of the simulation embryos_0.1ME_120, at t = 11 200 Porb. It is a continuation from Fig. 2. There are relatively massive embryos present in the disc, reaching up to 3 M (cf. the spiral arms). They concentrate in the outer part of the disc. In the pebble disc, one can see a darker region (low Σp) in the middle, which arises from a substantial pebble filtering by the outer embryos. The resolution 1024 × 1536 was used forthis long-term simulation.
