Normalized histogram of companion separation. For comparison, we plot the qualitative distribution of Duchêne & Kraus (2013) for A (dotted) and OB stars (solid). The distribution of our separations for mainly B and O stars is bimodal and resembles more that of the Duchêne & Kraus (2013) distribution of A-type stars. We notice a decrease of companions in the range of 1–100 AU.
