Relation between three JWST colors using the optimal filter combinations and the brown dwarf type and subtype for the standard stars in SPLAT. The F140W/F150W or the F140W/F162M filter combinations result unambiguous subtyping. The F150W/F162M combinations is degenerate in the Y-dwarf category.
