BLR, an optically and geometrically thin shell of clouds seen under a solid angle dΩ from an altitude z in the jet. The BLR is sliced according to ω ∈ [ωmax,π/2] and φ ∈ [0, 2π]. The BLR absorbs and re-emits part of the disk luminosity.
