Comparison of the u and q Stokes parameters of 4U 0115+63 and three zero-polarized standard stars in the R band. This figure demonstrates the stability of the RoboPol polarimeter and rules out any instrumental origin for the source polarization. The error bars of the standard stars were removed for clarity. The error bar of the weighted average is smaller than the size of the point.
