Frequency flogP of companions with q > 0.1 per decade of orbital period across log P (days) = 2–4. We compare the distribution flogP;comp of all companions (binaries and tertiaries; dashed) to the distribution of only the inner binaries (solid), where is the probability that the companion is a member of the inner binary. The overall binary fraction and binary period distribution across log P (days) = 2–4 are similar between those adopted by dMB15 and B16 (green) and the values for M1 = 8 M (red) and M1 = 30 M (blue) primaries based on the multiplicity statistics presented in MD17.
