Comparison of the spectra of (from top to bottom) the MKK standard 48 Cet (A1 V), the non-CP star KIC 10550657 (A0 V), the mCP star KIC 8773445 (A0 IV SiCrSrEu), and the MKK standard Vega (A0 V) in the blue-violet region. Some prominent lines of interest are indicated in the spectrum of KIC 8773445 (for an identification of these lines, please refer to Fig. 2). We also note the generally enhanced metal lines in this star, which are much stronger than in the A0 V standard despite an identical v sin i value.
