Table 2.

Influence of the sampling factor s on the S/N and on the computation time.

Sampling factor s Max. S/N reduction Time
1/4 80% 1/16
1/2 30% 1/4
1 9% 1
2 3% 4
4 ≤1% 16

Notes. The computation time as well as the maximum expected reduction in the S/N are given for values of s ∈ {1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4}. The experiments are conducted on the HIP 72192 dataset at λ1  =  2.110 μm with the PACO detection Algorithm 1. The computation time (last column) is given relatively to the time required to process the considered dataset with the original sampling grid (i.e., for s = 1) which, in our experiments, is approximately three hours (see Sect. 4.2).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
