Notes. The columns from left to right denote the run label, the mass Mres of the initial mass reservoir, the size Rres of the initial mass reservoir, the feedback effects included in the simulations (outflows, radiation forces, and photoionization), some quantitative results, namely the final mass of the central star at the end of its accretion phase (if still accreting at the end of the simulation, lower limits are given), the duration of the accretion phase (if still accreting at the end of the simulation, lower limits are given), and the associated size of the accretion region, i.e. the spatial scales from which the star has drawn its mass. The final column gives the line style used for the corresponding simulation data in the analyses figures throughout the manuscript. The label PO (protostellar outflow) refers to the feedback of protostellar outflow & jets. The label RAD (radiation) refers to simulations that account for radiation forces. The label ION (ionization) refers to taking into account the effect of the stellar photoionizing flux and the subsequent formation and expansion of an HII region around the high-mass star.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
