Upper panels: demonstration of the absorption feature in the blue wing of the CO v = 0 J = 3–2, 28SiO v = 0 J = 8–7, and 30SiO v = 0 J = 8–7 line in IK Tau (left) and R Dor (right) for an extraction aperture with radius ~80 mas (black), ~300 mas (blue), and 800–1000 mas (red). The smaller the extraction aperture, the better visible is the blue absorption feature. Bottom panels: the channel map demonstrates the “blue hole” on the stellar position for 30SiO v = 0 J = 8–7 (at a frequency not corrected for the vLSR) for IK Tau(left) and R Dor (right). For reference, the continuum contours are shown in white at (1, 3, 5, 10) × 0.141 mJy beam−1.
