Final parametrization: surface brightness. Negative values might reflect statistical errors, but might also be due to absorption. From top to bottom we present c-C3 H2 J = 212 → 110 (SBR), CH3C2H 50 → 40 (SBR-2) and, overlapping, c-C3H2 J = 432 → 423 (SBR-3) andH 42α (SBR-4; see Table 1 for details to the transitions). The abscissa shows galactocentric radii and the ordinate shows emission in units of Jy km s−1 arcsec−2. Further information is given in Sect. 4.6.2.
